Roof Replaced!

Thanks to our roofing contractor C&C Roofing, LLC; the leadership of our Building & Grounds Committee; the Board of Directors; and you, our donors, we now have a new roof over the Sandra and William H. Speiden auditorium. During the sometimes frustrating decision-making and implementation process, this board took bold action that not only addressed the immediate roof problem but also provided a long-term solution. Our directors knew this approach would be expensive, but we are confident that the new roof will last for many decades to come.

Future Society leadership can rest easy and secure. We raised our $64,000 goal! I am humbled and gratified by the outpouring of your financial support for this vital project. In addition to the numerous individual gifts that you provided, we were fortunate to be the recipient of a large matching gift donation and a grant, all of which helped the Society reach its goal relatively quickly.

Ultimately, we will not have to raid our endowment, which provides vital funds for paying staff salaries and daily operating costs. I extend my sincere thanks to each and every one of you who partnered with us in this effort.
